Titanic Escape Simulator Beginner Guide
What to understand before you start — the official mechanics, split into an investigation phase and a sinking phase. Spoiler-light: no puzzle solutions or ending details are revealed here.
Titanic Escape Simulator has two very different halves. In the investigation phase you explore the Titanic and gather evidence. After the collision, the game becomes a survival problem. This guide explains both from official mechanics, with links to the detailed pages.
Phase one: the investigation
- Explore the ship — public rooms, cabins, service corridors, cargo, machinery areas and lifeboat decks are all explorable before the disaster (official feature).
- Search for evidence — inspect crime scenes, collect clues and question passengers to connect hidden evidence (official feature).
- Puzzles and locks — environmental puzzles, locked doors, coded clues and tools unlock restricted areas. Specific solutions are covered in the puzzle hub.
- Stealth — some sections are forbidden territory, with dangerous enemies and secrets others want buried (official feature).
Phase two: the sinking
After the iceberg, the environment changes continuously: freezing water floods the ship, corridors tilt, lights fail and routes are blocked. You manage cold and stamina against physical hazards while trying to reach safety. The escape & survival guide covers priorities for this phase.
Moral choices and endings
The official description says the final moments ask what matters most: justice, love, or saving as many lives as possible. The game has three endings (confirmed by three ending achievements). What each ending requires exactly is not yet documented from a verified playthrough — see endings & choices for what is confirmed.
First steps checklist
- Play the prologue — it teaches the basic investigative loop (the MY STORY achievement completes it).
- Talk to and question every passenger you encounter; official dialogue can carry clues.
- Inspect rooms thoroughly and keep track of written clues — decoding them is a confirmed mechanic.
- Do not rush restricted areas: stealth and tension are official, and enemies punish careless entry.
- Before the sinking, learn where the lifeboat decks are — routes block off later (official feature).

Clues and evidence are officially part of solving puzzles and accessing restricted areas, but a verified exact dependency is not published.
Is the game scary?
Stealth, tension, failing lights and panic on the decks are official, so expect atmospheric horror elements rather than a pure thriller.
